Our faith is a race to finish

This post is created to steer you away from having a casual “Christian” mindset that would preach half truths or a false gospel that cheapens grace. God’s gift to us is being saved to fully know Him! So to equate our faith to something like a ticket that gets us our trip into heaven, rather than to the sanctifying and fierce journey it is, with and toward Christ, is inappropriate.

Our faith
is a race to finish.

It is NOT a random trip to heaven.

It is a turnaround and pursuit
where your good works nor faults are measured because of Christ.
It is a shedding of weight (sin) to reach the target.
It is a decision.

It is a belief/ faith
that Christ has called you to a place where you currently are not, where you need to get going to, and where looking back from is unacceptable.

God initiates this opportune race when you repent, and believe in the sacrifice of Christ (for your deadly sin, for an exchange from condemnation to life) and in Christ’s resurrection and oneness with God.

Because God initiates this race, He assures you to finish.

• Is this race a reality in your life?

If not, have you repented of your sin? And do you believe in the unique glory of Christ?

And if this is your reality, Congratulations (in advance) 😄!
