John 1:3-4 “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men”
1 John 4:7-10 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
• Did you know that God’s word invites YOU to peek into His glories!? We get to search for them if we’re hungering for peace or justice and be fulfilled! God miraculously saves through Jesus, who sends and fills us with the Holy Spirit! He will awaken and enlighten us about His kingdom, and allow us to partake in all His goodness if we simply seek to!
1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.
God does not ask for praise without merit, nor faith without hope. Rather He gives us all things without merit, and is faithful to supply forever. He’s a good, good father. He’s our savior in Christ, who’s also our friend, brother, bridegroom, and every intimate connection in perfect form! God takes the lead and inspires our love!
Seek and you will find Him, knock and the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7-8, Jeremiah 29:13).
Sin or the falleness of creation blinds us, and will try and stifile and cloud our faith further, but recognition with repentance will wash away the veil, any shame, and turn a heart over from stone to flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), where it can truly experience God in life through a new Spirit.
When I kept silent, my bones grew old
Through my groaning all the day long.
For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me;
My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah
I acknowledged my sin to You,
And my iniquity I have not hidden.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
• God proves Himself true, for His name’s sake. He cannot be successfully tempted or tested by His adversaries, so He’s a safeguard for His children and our unshakeable refuge. Therein, He Shepherd’s us, as His precious flock.
Ezekiel 34:11-15
“For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out.
As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.
And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land. And I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
I will feed them with good pasture, and on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing land. There they shall lie down in good grazing land, and on rich pasture they shall feed on the mountains of Israel. I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I myself will make them lie down, declares the Lord God.
Call upon Christ, and taste and see the salvation God brings!
