Fall in love with the living God!
We can all have various thoughts about who He is, but only truth is truth.
God proves His word to be living and true- prophetically and presently.
We cannot know God without His word (John1), because that is where He has laid foundation of Himself.
We stray that foundation whenever we assume His attributes and character. Our opinions do us disjustice as they are from limited and unclear perspectives.
• Imagine if we think that God is distant and solely the maker of the world, then we will miss out on His relational love.
— If we think there are multiple gods, we don’t have the joy of knowing that there is one who made us especially in His almighty and all-knowing power.
— If we think that we are gods, then our failures will wound our very own hopeful heart of greater desire, and hurt others.
• But God is in control and a glad helper. He’s the Spirit of divine love beyond and willing to share in us. He’s eternal. He’s gracious. He’s just. He’s the heavenly Father who delights in His children and plans hopes joy and a future for them. He’s love, and all of the other things He says, and none of the things He says He’s not.
To know God is to love God.
He’s a fire, but that warms the righteous. If you want your relationship with God to begin or improve, introduce yourself to His word.
God is a treasure. Seek His light and riches for yourself.
