Do you believe in love?
Not the romantic kind… but the in general kind that passionately seeks the well-being of something…?
I think that if you’re a sincere lover, then you believe in love. That it’s a reality to you, for however much you see it in yourself whether it’s returned or not. •| I think the same could go with honesty, hope or joy… If you’re solid in these things then you believe in them, that not everyone’s untrustworthy and that there’s escape from negativity and sadness, because it’s in you. | •
Jesus says that He is living hope! Like, that we with certainty can believe in true unwavering hope because He’s it. 🙌🏾 How beautiful is that!? 🙌🏾 He knows eternal hope is real, because it’s Him.
I know this is why God said that He’d send a seal of assurance, the gift of the Holy Spirit, to whoever believes in Christ. The Holy Spirit has the power of God to make us witnesses of grace and salvation now, and God makes faith a reality. • | He brings divine fellowship and a heart of faith, love, peace, joy, goodness, self-control, patience, kindness, and humility that’s able to destroy sins, so we can sincerely testify of His being and active glory to ourselves and others here on earth. So that we can sincerely say, I believe that God’s holy and yet also gracious, because that’s the God in me. And every other promise that comes with that! | • 2Cor.1:21-22
