Currently rereading Proverbs which is actually very straightforward advice…

But if scripture has ever felt out of touch with your present worries and like it doesn’t have immediate answers for your situation or you have become unsure of how to operate next to even think of God…

Know God’s word speaks as a guide for Christians / people who already (or to those who will) follow Christ and His mission.

Thankfully, God wants to bring you to a full stop and new perspective. A place of renewal, not of fixing mistakes (though He’ll likely show you how to do that later).

 

 

♥ God’s word declares who we are in Him and shares a lot of principles that’ll keep us from questioning and pursuing things in vain.

 

• To make this practical:

 

In the natural, you may gossip, self-loath, and search and try to figure out a million ways to change yourself or someone to fix a “romantic” situation.

 

In the Spirit, you have kindness and faithfulness that God honors and if “he” (love interest) isn’t leading with that clarity, they aren’t ‘compatible’ with God’s desire for you. Or if “she” (love interest) isn’t receptive or respectful of your love, they aren’t ‘the one.’

 

— And that doesn’t automatically make them a bad person, and it never means tearing them down. You can still pray for someone’s well-being, part ways, and trust and follow God’s will for good and righteousness in your life going forward.

 

In the natural, you may be confused about what to do next with your life.

 

In the Spirit, you have a purpose. You’re called to love and build, and you are free to go in any direction that increases this ambition!
