Racial Healing

Spiritual Reminder

I John 3:16 “By this we know love, because Christ laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”

(assure to see each slide for context and information)

Core Practices

Are you all seeking unity in your heart, and having fellowship and conversations with everyone (all races) so we can make Kingdom change? God doesn’t want us to allow the news or personal experiences to isolate or cause persisting hurt and division. But we also can’t be united without addressing issues together. God acknowledges us as an entire person, and Christ-likeness should bear the same.

Let’s envision. • It is possible for other races to genuinely care for each other! I have been blessed to witness it! It should be especially possible and normal in the church!
.
If we keep our Spiritual Reminder and live for the glory of God then we share a common ambition that involves teamwork! One accord❤️ YOU, remember that God wonderfully made you. He has not forgotten you. 🙏 #loveall His children are not your enemies even when they sin against you. Ouch.
.
I’ve noticed it’s the little things sometimes that divide us. Big or little sins from blinders, areas in our hearts that don’t see God’s glories and plans for our different colored brothers and sisters, yet assumes downfalls in seeing color. 🤎🤍I believe we all can gain and be blessed by other races. I believe Black lives do and can contribute a lot to other races also. We’re all appointed in this world together! Let’s search for God’s vision and establish it! To Him, all communities should be loved! We should uplift our Black Communities! Unity that is secure is a joy to look forward to!

I Corinthians‬‭ 13:5-7‬ “Love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

God’s Mission in Motion

God has a mission that is as alive and active as He is, and we are either rejecting it or simply blind to it. 2 Corinthians 4:4 states that satan is an alive adversary also on an active mission. He seeks to steal, kill, and destroy while God seeks that people would have salvation and life! (John10:10), and it was important for this topic of Racial Healing to have a specific biblical Spiritual reminders, and practical looks at culture, and truth, and our heart, to expose these missions at hand. God brings to the light what the enemy would have left in darkness.

Satan continues to blind the unbelieving and undiscerning for his mission of destruction, but our mission and calling from God is to believe, have faith, be aware and live in Spirit and truth. Satan has decieved people to think they are walking with God, while our actions actually may justify his schemes, hatred, practices of division, denial of Christ, and blasphemy of God’s nature.

So specifically, what is our mission/ God’s mission? (And note God is for suppling salvation, bringing racial healing, and giving principles and power for integrating and using (like the spiritual reminder and core practice), to bring hindsight and healing to any area of life!

This verse in James calls attention to God’s desire for the care of widows and orphans. But all over scripture God reveals His passion and heart, and sometimes verses specifically lean our focus to the poor, the physically disabled, or the oppressed/ slaves/ unjustly treated… God seems to look throughout the earth, see who’s considered the least and says that is the person you should not forget. He redirects and commands us to pay attention to whoever is in distress, and leads us to give His love. In that then, is a genuine testimony to earth of true faith and a living God who’s humble, holy, gracious, and has sent salvation through Christ.

I John‬ ‭2:16-17 “For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.”

Put on the full armor of God, and live for His reign and glory! Love Him and love people as He has first loved us!

Scritpture says that we know God’s people by their fruit. We can examine our lives as well by this!

It is not works / deeds that saves us, but faith in Christ, by the gracious gift of God, but faith believes certain things and so acts certain ways. It show up over our entire life and behavior.

‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:46‬ “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?”

Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-12 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
