Once you’re renewed and drafted into the victory of Christ, “defeated” is no longer apart of your identity. So put on hope and faith and never embrace negativity or complacency!
If your identity is in Christ, God’s glory (not self glory) is your ambition. And joyfully! As you know He’s worthy! He is sacrificial and unfailing love. He’s the lover of our soul, and the greatest wisdom. So to boast in and of ourselves is to be noise before a fellow soul who’s made for more. We have the opportunity to give something more. Infinite, perfect love in Him! So His will over ours. His name becoming more, ours less.
Some people succeed in their first attempts at things. Some people fail constantly and become defeated. Even after constant falls though, the Christian can have peace and pride! As their pride is in God, and the fall of them is not the fall of Him. And their pursuit of His kingdom come, is not in vain, for it will.
Take heart as a believer!
Grace is given to God’s redeemed. If your heart is with His, let it be known, that you can reset, readjust, restart and refocus as many times as you need too! God knows that we’re learning and growing. That’s simply apart of sanctification. So rise and stay zealous! If your after God’s heart, your on the right path no matter how much you stumble. I live by this!
